My husband and I made a stopover in Singapore, we were on our way to New Zealand and due to the long flights from Denmark, we decided to take a break and go see this amazing place. Singapore is a city filled with astonishing structural engineering. The famous one is the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, also called the surfboard, and the artificial Gardens by the Bay, but the whole city is filled with amazing buildings.
We stayed at The Fullerton Hotel the location was amazing, right by the bay with stunning views to the Marina Bay.
The whole city is one big light show, you can spend the evening and nights walking around and just being amazed. There are many walking paths you can chose from, remember to wear comfi shoes, before you know it you walked 15 km in one day. Chinatown and littel india are some of the other hip areas, all in walking distance from the center.
Gardens by the Bay is a amazing place, to get there you walk true the Marina Bay hotel witch has a huge shopping mall in the downstairs area, where you can ride the Gondols like in Italy or play in the light and colour playground. When you get to the gardens you can easily spend the hole day there and stay until it gets dark, then the light show starts.
If you need more adventure then take a trip to Sentosa, it´s a short taxi ride away and there you will find Universal studios, a huge Aquarium, butterfly park and much much more.
Singapore has it all and i´m looking forward to going back.
